President Benjamin Bryce is a Naval Officer and is serving his second term on the LG BOD. With a background in operations, leadership, and project management, he brings a strategic and service-driven mindset to the board. Benjamin is deeply committed to transparency, fiscal responsibility, and preserving the unique character of our Waikiki community. As both a resident and investor, he advocates for policies that enhance property value, improve livability, and reflect the spirit of aloha. He believes effective governance starts with clear communication, responsiveness, and doing the right thing—even when it’s hard.

Vice President Katherine Li, PhD works at the Mediation Center of the Pacific as Mediator & Program Development Director. She is also a leadership & communication coach with years of experience working in international education. 

Treasurer Steve Bunting dedicated 36 years to the fire service in Southern California, building a distinguished career focused on public safety, leadership, and community service. He retired as a Division Chief and Fire Marshal for the City of Newport Beach, where he was responsible for enforcing both the California Fire Code and Building Code for state-regulated facilities, including high-rise residential buildings similar to those found in Honolulu.

Throughout his career, Steve developed extensive expertise in fire prevention, building safety, code enforcement, emergency planning, and regulatory compliance. His leadership roles required effective problem-solving, collaboration, and communication while working with government agencies, business leaders, and community stakeholders.

Following his retirement from the fire service, Steve returned to the City of Newport Beach to serve as an Assistant to the City Manager. In that role, he managed special projects on behalf of City Administration and the City Council, further expanding his experience in municipal operations, strategic planning, and public service.

Today, Steve continues to apply his professional experience and leadership skills through his service as a condominium board member in Honolulu. His background in governance, building safety, and community leadership provides valuable insight as he works to support and enhance the communities he serves.
